I've tried to find out if the Harbour in Kyrenia is open yet after going through extensive work but can't find any info on it. Can anyone give an update on it thanks.

Tables & chairs immediately outside restaurants only. All a bit sanitized having lost its rustic charm and very expensive to wine and dine.

It has lost it's old charm and that will never return. It is, as has already been said, very expensive to wine and dine. Talking to an owner about his prices all I got back was ''we have to make up for lost revenue and in any case if you do not like it do not come'' a good salesman I think not. We all know the Government gave them a subsidy but they all say it was only peanuts. Be careful as not all of them are displaying their prices and you only get the result once you get the shocking bill.

The business of not displaying prices is growing rapidly and catching on in a big way. Even in a poplar cafe attached to a well known Supermarket in Alsancak there are no longer any meal prices displayed, other than the lunch of the day. I was always given to understand that it was illegal here and should be reported , but then, what do I know.

I went to this particular cafe last year and you have to scan the QR code for prices. As we weren't able to do it the waiter did it on his phone for us.

Thanks for that info, but I still think its naughty all the same.
