Turkcell Payment
Just tried to pay invoice on their website as usual seems they have messed with it trying to introduce this stupid Paycell thing which when you try to download it on your phone it tells you not for this country even though it it meant to be Paycell Cyprus
Anyway basically the payment that I make every month failed on their new invoice payments page, anyone else had this problem??

Yes me too. Didn’t download the app but it wouldn’t accept Revolut or Wise to pay my bill. I have used both cards in the past with no problems

Re: Turkcell Payment
It doesn’t work for me if I use a Credit Card but works fine with my Debit Cards (Barclays, Nationwide, Wise Visa).

I had the same problem a few days ago. Tried both credit and debit cards which I had used before and details saved, but would not accept. Then tried Garantee card and it was fine. Seems a problem with UK cards.

Re: Turkcell Payment
I paid two bills yesterday, using the app, successfully with my Nationwide Visa Card so maybe it was a temporary issue?

Re: Turkcell Payment
I've just tried and failed miserably using Revolut, Chase and Starling cards on their website. Have they changed banks, can't say I recall them using Garanti Bank in the past? I'll try again later just in case it's a blip. I've not downloaded the app so far.

Just paid my water bill, electricity bill and mobiles bills using PayPoint with my Revolut card without any problems at all.

Thanks Waddo. I just remembered that I had the same problem last month and used Paypoint, so will do that again this month.

Payment successful through Paypoint using Chase. Just for info, when paying Turkcell through Paypoint, there is a 5 TL charge.

Teah, that £0.12 extra charge nearly had me walking down into Girne to pay at the office - but I fought the urge in the end - lol.

Lol to both the free data and the extra charge. Any time I've had this free data, any data used comes out of my monthly allowance, and it generally only lasts 24 hours, complete con unless you don't have data on your plan.
