Residency permits...
Read all the posts .... I have been here for 16 years. Bought into the idea that if you kept into the rules of ins and outs then after 5 years you will get permanent permits as pointed out in recent posts. When I got to 5 they then said 7 when I got to 7 they then said 10. Then when I got to that they then pulled it completely. I have kept faithfully within the law guidance. Why I wonder do we have posts from people who think we came here for cheap beer .food and otherwise. I came because my friend who has now unfortunately passed . Better life was the idea. And it still is . I Bought here 16 years ago on he's advice. I then was diagnosed with menieres disease . I do not claim any benefits from the UK. I am no burden to the trnc. Especially being here for 16 years ... yet now I have to find huge amounts of money to get a residency permit.
