How much for a patio door ?

I have just had Dunya (Alsancak) fit fly screens for me. They are very good quality and what I imagine is a fair price..500 tl patio door,400 tl smaller Bedroom patio doe and 300tl for a kitchen window.

Patio door aluminium flyscreen was 450TL fitted.

Seems like around 450-500TL is a reasonable price.

Other quotes were substantially more.

Do they repair flu screens

Pretty sure Blue Island will replace/repair fly screens or doors.

Replacing the flyscreen itself is a pretty easy job. Just by mesh from a Yapi Market and then ease/remove the rubber seal securing flyscreen to the aluminium/plastic door or window. Make sure mesh is slightly larger than the area it needs to cover. Press in rubber seal securing the mesh. Trim off the excess mesh.

Even I a diy dunce managed to do it. Mind you a few months later the dog decided the quickest way out to get at the cats was through the flyscreen so managed to take flyscreen and bits of door with him. That’s when we needed a real professional to replace everything.
