Has anyone got any tips on how to treat a sweat rash ?

If you search 'prickly heat' on this board you'll find the topic comes up fairly regularly.

As it tends to be a result of blocked pores, gentle exfoliation when bathing can help, using a plastic scrunchie or exfoliating skin wash - Johnson's do a very nice one for using on the face but can be used on other parts of the body.

If you can bear it, I thoroughly recommend getting a scrub treatment at a Turkish bath, such as the one at Acapulco hotel. It got rid of my prickly heat permanently.

Agree with come_on_aylin. Its caused by sweat blocking pores so exfoliation is usually the answer. Not blocking the pores with even more cream.

I never sweat, I perspire.

On the lighter side, in my Army days it used to be said that soldiers' wives 'sweat', sergeants wives 'perspire' and officers' wives 'glow'.

Any cavalryman will tell you horses sweat, men perspire, ladies glow.
I've often said that I sweat like a pig but my neighbour who farms them tells me that they have few sweat glands, preferring a wallow in cooling mud. Sounds good to me

Nappy rash cream works well.

Depends where it is? If it is in an embarrassing position where men suffer, Ketoral cream. Sweat can cause fungal problems and Ketoral is the answer
