We have tried contacting Euromed - still no response after 4 months. Jo Valentine who made numerous promises to give us a quote and nothing forthcoming, Emel, who seemed to have everyone's vote, but he has told us he cannot do a shipment. Friends have had problems with Dolphin and do not recommend. Therefore, as we are moving our goods in August to France we are getting slightly desperate for someone to give us a quote. Anyone have any suggestions please.

Can't recommend anyone as we have never gone out form here, but I see that Valentine's advertises on KibMKom and even offers a discount to KibKomers, so maybe it is worth trying them again!

Yes, we used her when we moved to TRNC, very good, hence why we contacted her again. But having spoken to her at least three times and emailed on numerous occasions, we still have not had a quote. I did hear that there had been some problems but not sure if this is correct, maybe someone can tell me.

Try again is all I can suggest. I have heard of no problems, and in any case you know that here, one should not believe all one hears anyway. Badger them and ask if they are in a position to help you, and if not to recommend someone else.

I would suggest you DO NOT use Olaytrans.

They lost all of my goods when I moved to Germany.

We used Raymond Hainsworth from Bradford years ago were great. Just googled them they are still listed.

I am not sure that the Bradford firm would be interested in shipping from TRNC to France. Apparently, France is the worst country to ship to from TRNC. They hold the opinion that North Cyprus is an illegal country, therefore we may have to ship via the UK. Don't think we shall use Olaytrans - not seen many good reviews.

I cannot recommend Jo Valentine enough. We shipped a container with her firm at the end of June from the UK. Everything went superbly. I must add, since I hear she has had difficulties recently, but I am sure she will soon be sorting things out. If she cannot help you ship, I am sure she will know someone he will. I would use her again, as our shipment went so smoothly.

There was a post on here saying that Valentines had gone into receiver ship, & the people that had paid Valentines as a result had to pay twice to get their shipment out of hock in the UK.

So Valentines certainly wouldn't get my vote.

They couldn't even be bothered to reply on here about it.

Kaiserphil seems to have had a bad experience with Olaytrans but speak as you find and I have recently had them to deal with my goods back to England as they were the only company to show any real interest when I contacted a few local companies some months ago and they have been efficient and helpful to date. My goods are now in a container on the high seas and should arrive in a couple of weeks. No complaints at all up to now with Olaytrans. Keeping my fingers crossed that the container arrives safely.

Terrible experience with valentines recently in moving a household. I would strongly recommend finding someone else
