Coincidentally, I received a text message from Ramadan yesterday (Sunday) evening to advise my UK bound packages are ready for collection in SE London, Peckham.

Both Arif and Ramadan are in Cyprus for a family wedding, tomorrow. You could try phoning 07956 962349 from Sunday onwards when one or both will have returned to London. Maybe they have contacts in or around Birmingham who could bring your items to London, or you can arrange that yourself. Their next container shipment to Cyprus is scheduled for 20 May - this might possibly slip on some days as has been the case before but I would still plan for it leaving 20 May.

Do they pick up from the Midlands near Birmingham do you think?

Have you asked them? Their (Arif and Ramadan's) phone numbers, UK and Cyprus, have been published in this thread a number of times...

Has anyone used them recently? Some of these are old posts. Are they recommended?

Yes Earlybird we used then this summer. We did deliver our stuff to them in Peckham in April, and it arrived in July without any problem. We had to wait a little longer than we had anticipated as I think they wait until they have a full load but given the good price we didn't mind. We would certainly use them again.

Used Man & Van to take our belongings back to the UK. I would seriously not use this man Arif again. I found him very rude, never answered his phone. Did not deliver our goods on the time he stated at the beginning. Our boxes were damp and opened. Couple of things missing and damaged two good items. He has no respect for your belongings.
