Writing a modest Will in 2024

My journey through the legal requirements of TRNC continues now with a small Will. My modest apartment now has a formal kocan and I need to secure the future with a Will that satisfies local laws. Just a few lines leaving the property jointly to my children.

I have seen a local notar who tells me that she can complete the whole process and deposit the Will at court for a total of 350 euros.

I already have in my possession scans of my children's passports. I am in-country at present and can easily liaise with the notar to complete the process.

I am told by other Brits here that use of templates etc. as in past times is now out of the question, so too not depositing the document with the court. But using a notar for a simple Will is quite acceptable.

So have I been well informed and would pay the going rate if I decide to go ahead with the notar be reasonable? TIA
