12 July no UK -NC mobile connection

I had to do some business today which involved sending some SMS information to a local 905488 etc. mobile.
Its a business phone and used regularly for such calls/txts.
My phone in the UK is also a business handset with full use internationally.
My respondent tells me the phone was working normally all day on local NC calls.
I regularly make calls and texts to NC.
So does anyone know if there were international connection problems today please ? Thanks
