help required - idea of monthly bills

Hi

Could anyone give me a run down of what monthly bills I would have and ideas of costs.

I am looking at 2 bedroom properties that I would live in only apart from visitors

I will need decent internet

Hard question at the moment, electric goes up now every other month.

It depends if you plan to live on a site. Will there be a maintenance fee and communal pool?

If you're not on a site will you have your own pool so you'll need to factor pool maintenance in. Mobile bill for 2 of us is just under 1000tl per month.

Internet I'd recommend not paying monthly as the cost is likely to increase. Look online at Extend, Nethouse, and Multimax to see which suits you.

For water and electric I can't really say as my living situation is different to the one that you are asking about.

When you come here take into account you'll need to convert your licence as well which I believe isn't cheap. I'm sure someone here will advise you.

Residency, again check all the requirements, ı'm not sure for this so again someone here will advise you.

Yearly car tax + insurance 300, Car service 50 , annual rates 100. GBP
2 yearly MOT for car 50 GBP
Shopping per week 50 GBP per person
Eating out, pick a number 10 - 50 per night
This applies only if no rent to pay

No point finding I can do all the things to move then can’t afford to live.

How long have you been in TRNC and what do you love about it x

I've been here since 2011 and it's changed a lot. Right now the only thing I like is the weather and the fact we have Kimliks so don't have to deal with residency. We live on TL so going out as we used to is no longer an option. Everything is getting very expensive, couldn't go back to UK as nowhere to go back to. Feel free to drop me a pm if you want any info.
