Stayed soft instead of going hard, an age thing
Yes we are taking tile grout. Regrouting my pool. The bag I got from nearby yapi had an issue as soon as I opened it. Loads of small hard bits that would not mix to the smooth constituency. Took it back to shop who tried to fob me off. Seeing he was getting nowhere he tried to sell me a power mixer. Please just replace it I asked..Got a new bag the powder looked OK and mixed OK. Done most of the pool then checked the areas that had been drying for at least a week. Instead of being hard it was soft and powdery, easily scrapable with a finger nail. Checked the packaging. Made in 2022 with a shelf life of 1 year. So one year to old to use.

Once upon a time we (the Brits) were expected to accept the traditional Turkish shrug for fear of offending, but those days are gone.
