Can anyone tell me how much a cataract operation is here and which hospital would they recommend please?

A friend had his done a few days ago £650 per eye which isn't bad, I had mine done 3yrs ago it was £600 then, he used the lady doctor on the corner near the Pia Bella, almost at the traffic lights, unfortunately she has had some good and not so good feedback, I used her and had no problems.

Hi Groucho, how recently was this?

I've just had two cataracts done by Professor Ali at NEU.
700 euro for a normal lens, 1700 euro for multifocal which I've had.
Amazing experience at NEU, if i was the president I don't think i could have been treated better.
16 days and 5 days on, my vision is fantastic
