Is it OK to drink boiled tap water in TRNC?

Yes, I use it all time for cooking.

I also use it to wash salad items, and brush and rinse my teeth, shave and shower... not sure why I still bother with a bidon tbh...

Groucho, sometimes some local Belediyes switch over to their old supply, because it is more profitable for them. Carry on with the bidons.

We do....but we use a Brita Filter Jug and have done since 2008.

Their contract with the Turkish supplier does not allow this under uninterrupted supply conditions, so it's illegal unless for some reason the Turkish supply is off due to a fault.
