Asking for friends. Who are flying to Germany from Turkey, but will be using two different airports in Turkey, don't know why, but will they need a visa to travel from airport to airport.

Thanks.

Just reread this, if they are flying from Turkey won't they already have one?

We think they were under the impression the didn't need a visa as they are flying from the TRNC. But we did tell them they would need a visa. Anyway they are going to apply for one now. Of Well.

They definitely need one if the go landside in Turkey, I was confused because you said they were flying from Turkey not TRNC. Of course, it does depend on their nationality. Make sure they use the official site https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ as there are lots of other sites where they will be charged more...

If they hold German passports, as my children do, then they are visa-free for a number of days (90 springs to mind), I would hope that the transfer between airports doesn't take that long.

I, as a UK passport holder, had to get an e-visa from the government website linked above.
