Hi all,

I'm after a sun sail shade, 4m x 6m. Any idea of where to get one made up and rough idea of price would be really helpful. East or west of Girne.

Thanks.

wwhen it comes to sun sail research... then you are ending very quickly up about
- material
- wheather protected
- UV protected (for the sail)
- UV protection (for you)

so, definitely not made locally.
at the end... GC side or amazon or similar...

The Famagusta Fabric warehouse will make you exactly what you want and have a huge range of materials. we opted for a quite cheap material as we thought it will let more air in than canvas and we were right. We have had it for 5 seasons now. The first year we took it down in the winter, but did not bother again. We get quite a breeze here but all is well still. They will make whatever you want. David did a drawing with all information on it and we got exactly what we asked for

because i do not need chairs and tables.

btw, i did ask several canvas shops here... eg for "stabilised PES" ... because, eg, I do not want to get "grilled" below my sunshade. (90% UV protection). they did not offer.

dippersgirl, I notice you say you don't take it in now and you have quite a breese. We have nothing between us and Turkey om one side of the house and nothing between us and the mountains on the other. Do you think it could cope then., or is that a step too far? Thanks.
