I had been contacted by several members that had problems with staying logged in to the forum. They were unable to post and kept automatically being logged out of their account. The following seems to have resolved the problem:

Log in with your Username and Password, before submitting click in the check box on the right “Log me on automatically each visit”
and then Submit.

Done as you advised but keep getting logged out. Happened about three times in last few minutes.

Same here, hadn't mentioned it, but I have this problem and ticking the box does not help!!

Go to Google search and type in "What is my IP" copy numbers and paste in an email to me with your Username to: [email protected]

Working fine here.

Seems like it is a problem with members using a Multimax connection. Looking into issue.

After clicking the "log me in automatically" box I haven't had any problem, have actually stayed logged in, thanks for the tip Soner.

I am experiencing this issue too. I sent you an email as requested, Soner, and ticked for a copy to be sent to my email, but nothing received so far. Hope you got it safely

I am still having this problem - happened this morning and three times this evening! It is hardly the end of the world but is a little irritating and not vey reassuring. I wonder if you have had any luck in locating the problem, Soner?

Me too. Just arrived in TRNC and now have same problem. Added my IP to safest and now all OK. Something very odd going on in TRNC with internet connection to Kibkom. Does anyone have similar problem on other sites?

1. Both in the UK and (currently) here in TRNC, I always tick the "Log me on automatically each visit" box, and thereafter I am (almost always) automatically logged in as soon as I click on my Bookmarked link. On extremely rare occcasions in the UK, I have to sign in, but again thereafter , no problem.
2. Here in TRNC, in the past seven weeks, although coming on every day, I have only had to sign in four or five times at most - perhaps I've been lucky? I'm in Karsiyaka and using Nethouse, if that info is of any use....
3. Curiously, in order to copy the exact wording of the "Log me in..." phrase, I attempted to log out - it took five "clicks" on the logout button to work....
None of this really bothers me; I just know and accept the old adage regarding computer technology - "Artificial Intelligence, real stupidity...", and if you combine this with the "Cyprus Shrug" - relax, life is to be enjoyed....!

Is anybody still having this problem?

No it is getting much worse. It logs off every time I click to read a thread or send a post, and it loses my posts. It has lost three already this evening and I am just hoping this one gets through

I am still having this problem, it is very weird as when logged in I can go to another category to find I am logged out but when I go back a page I am still logged in.

I have just started having login problems over the last couple of days. Multimax connection if that helps your investigation.

Logging in and clicking thr box desnt work .

No problems for the last week or so using android could it be a windows os problem.

I have my programmer looking into the issue. Hopefully he will identify problem and fix soon, if it has anything to do with the site itself.

If you are still being logged out automatically, please try and clear your cache / history then log in again. If problem persists then please let me know.

I've just spent the last 40 mins(UK) trying to login into Kibkom and up until today had no problems like other members have.. It would not log me in at all just came up all the time with green screen. Tried re-registering but kept telling me I was not putting in the Caption correctly and I believe I was. Tried again several times and it's just let me in after switching laptop on and off again.

clearing Browsing History, Cookies and other data and Cached images and files fixes the problem for me...

I was also having problems but did as suggested and cleared browsing history etc and all better now. Thanks for suggestions

It seems you need to set the "Obliterate the following items" to "from the beginning of time"

sounds drastic but if you only get rid of the recent history the problem persists...

We have made some fixes, if anyone still has problem after clearing history, then please let me know.

Writing quickly in case I get logged out again.

For the last 30 mins. I have not been able to login and the screen is green and I press login and it comes up to fill in my username and [password which it does automatically. I tick to log me auto and then it stays a green screen with my username in the top right hand corner and then jumps out and goes back to login.

I have cleared all my history and still it was not working. Turned off laptop 3 times.

Went away as fed up with it and just logged in again once, then second attempt it allowed me in.

What I don't understand is why my username is at the bottom of the hall of fame when I cannot login with green screen, if I cannot login surely my name should not appear as I would not be logged in. Maybe I don't understand that bit.

Also why is it happening to some and not all, clearing history is hinting that we are not maintaining our laptops/computers regularly. I can get that for me as a dummie, but not for the others on here who seem very computer savvie.

Doing a Disk Clean has cleared my login issue.

Is that the same as a file cleanup, if so, my Norton does that automatically and just done it again manually. See what happens.

Try clearing cache/history, closing browser for 5 minutes, then open browser and log back in clicking checkbox before you submit.
So far I have not been logged out in the last 3 hours.

Could not log on all day, read this post cleared browsing history and cache to the beginning of time and working perfectly now

Is any Kibkom member outside of the TRNC having this problem? If so please state country.
Appreciate your help in trying to solve this problem.

This morning on one of my I-pads I was logged out of Kibkom and could not log back in, I kept saying I was logged in and then throw me back to the log in field, I then used another I-pad and was automatically logged in, what I did notice was when you are not logged in the help tab is not available, would it not be better to have this available at all times?

I have logged in first time this morning(UK) and all seems alright so far.

Many members are still experiencing problems, and we still have not managed to put our finger on it. Working to resolve as soon as possible.

In Cyprus logged on fine this morning left android tablet on standby for a couple of hours needed to log on again.

As requested I can report that I had the login problem for the first time yesterday.I had already seen the clear history and cache advice and followed it.It worked right away.I am in the UK using Safari. I hope that is helpful.

Have had this problem for some time now and tried everything to resolve it without success. One thing that stands out for me is that if I "AM" logged in and go to the "Sales" section, as soon as I open up one of the sales that has photo's attached I become logged out again. Sometimes I become logged out as soon as I enter the "Sales" section as well. I have just about the same problem with the "Motors" section and have begun to wonder if it is anything to do with the photo attachments? Probably not but if there is a straw to grasp at then I will always have a grab - lol.

Further to my last - I have just visited the "Sales" section again and remained logged in. I hit on an item entitled "Canoe" and upon opening that item I checked and found I was now logged out again. Used the back button and returned to the KIBKOM NORTH CYPRUS FORUM where I found myself to be Logged In again, hmmmm. Thought I would report that instance so opened the link "Problems staying logged in on Kibkom Forum?", again as soon as that opened I found myself to be logged Out again. Strange! So, I logged back IN and have just written this bit of post.

One thing - I guess my great idea of it being a "Photo's" problem is just a load of old rubbish and can now be discounted.
