We loved it there last year, and hoping to just drop in today for snorkelling and lunch? We would go abt middayish, anyone know if they are Mega busy, or different from last year?
TIA

Went there last night and they were very busy. Had a word with the boss and he said they were busy all week.

If going of an evening they do like you to book. If a large party lunchtime the same, but if you are small family lunchtimes no need to,book. Same great food and service.

Yes we went, made a point of getting there around noon to get our favorite spot. Not many people there at that time, but by the time we left all the outdoor tables in the shade were full. Lovely lunchtime out though good food good prices, lovely salty sea

We went 3 nights ago and had a great evening meal, HOWEVER some friends of mine went on Tuesday and it was a total disaster. Waited 15 minutes for drinks order, waited half an hour to place their order, waited hour and 15 minutes for food to arrive, main course came and no starters, Main course cold and almost inedible. Staff running around like headless chickens, Owner gave them free coffee and brandy as an apology. Why don't these people have the courage to say to customers, "we are very, very busy and cannot take any more customers?" As our friends told the owner "we have been coming here since you opened and will give you a second chance because we have never been disappointed before" Some places seem to be victims of their own success, but they should be realistic about how many the kitchen and waiting staff can cope with.

Yes I agree with you Sophie. The waiting staff were all different to last year and here was a headless chicken atmosphere. Evenings must be a bit chaotic, I don't really eat out much except at lunchtimes because I like to combine lunch with swimming etc. We were just lucky because we went early.

We went on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago and they were very busy including 2 tables of around 12 people each. They told us there would be a wait as the kitchen was busy and in fact the food came much quicker than we expected and was of the usual high standard. My only minor gripe is that sound seems to reverberate round the dining room and bar and everyone ends up shouting to be heard which gives it a bit of a canteen atmosphere.
