I would contact various places like Cagra to see if they have any pallets - all their tiles and bricks and stuff like that comes on pallets and lets face it you don't need ones in perfect condition for storing logs on.dan wrote:can anyone tell me where i can get a tarpaulin and wooden pallets to use for log storing please?
Actually Supreme supermarket had stacks of them left over from the construction work going on there.... you might be lucky!
For tarpaulin I think the south is the best bet. IKEA sell a good sized one for about 7 Euros

An alternative to tarpaulin would be to use the thick plastic sheeting available in Yapi Markets.
It come in clear or black, with a choice of 3 metres or 6 metres width.
You probably won't get much more than a year's use out of it before it rots away in the sun, but that goes for tarpaulin as well...
