If you are "Classic cars enthusiast" and you are looking to have a nice day out.
Visit the "automobile/ classic cars museum" in Near East University in Lefkosa. It has a good collection worthwhile seeing, some cars goes back to early 19th century. Even better, some of these cars, are displayed in the hospital lobby.
How to get there, well, to avoid confusion, I would suggest you check out Near East University website for direction.
Entry fee 10tl.... reasonable.

While you are in university grounds, you could use the restaurants and cafes, all at reasonable prices.
Should you get lost, the university is full of young people & staff who are willing to help in any way..

So far, I have visited the museum three times, and looking forward to check out the collection again & again.

Also, worthwhile mentioning, while you are at the Near East University, check out the hospital, and pick leaflets for "man/ women well-being" offers... but don't make it a must.... Classic cars are the ones I recommend to see...

my next log in, I will download few photos...

All the best

Hi Mate.

The collection is big. all housed in a massive building. Some of sports cars are in big Air Controlled plastic tents. And is worth a visit.

Fabulous collection, Am I correct in thinking some of those cars belonged to Salih's relative (He owns Di Figaro)? They were housed under the pool area of the weird building with the domes, and Ostriches next to the Landing beach?

OOH how lovely - I so love classic cars
If anyone is in Scotland there is a super collection near Dunblane in Perthshire
Well worth a visit if you are in that beautiful part of the world.

My husband would love this. Is parking available nearby as he can't walk too far?

I cant tell you how big the collection is.... But, I see other classic cars enthusiasts have responded.

Let me check my photo album, and see if I can download few for you.

Yes there is ample parking spaces. not only that, should your husband face any problems with regards to parking or and walking, I assure you, Staff at Near East are very helpful.
Also, approach student "they love to practice their English" or even help you.
Best of luck

Went to visit last week and it was closed, no notices up though. Anyone any idea when it might re-open, there was no-one around to ask?

Any Classic Car Enthusiast should get more than their fill just driving around North Cyprus, hundreds of Renault Broadway`s, Vitara`s, etc, some of which must be at least 50 years old, and still absolutely roadworthy!
