Problems staying logged in on Kibkom Forum?

I downloaded Ccleaner by Piriform and that did the trick regarding clearing cache and history. I was getting bumped out immediately after logging on before that.

Tried that, no change, ran my Malware Bytes Premium through the system again, no change, ran my iolo Sys mech pro through the system again, no change, my system is as clean and pure as can be yet still being logged out for no apparent reason - happy that it is not me so I will just wait for the fix to be applied when the guru's find the problem. Good luck to all but its no big thing to log in every time so no big worry.

Still working on problem, but this seems to work for many:

Clear your cache/history, close your browser, then log back in clicking on the Checkbox to stay logged in.

Found I can get on and stay on if I use Safari but not Google.

It's working fine on Google Chrome for me.... my automatic login on each visit is working and I'm not being logged out...

I've been logged in since yesterday. All is well so far. Hope that issue has been resolved.

Programmer had identified an issue with settings for cookie sessions on the server. Hope all is OK now.
PoshinDevon found that if you have the Kibapp on your device, removing then reinstalling and then clearing history in your browser had fixed issue for him.

I don't have any problem staying logged in through Safari but both Google and Google chrome keep logging me out immediately.

Hı ınternet Explorer Works fine without any problem. If you use chrome it will be problem

After very simple instructions from Soner (I am blonde & from Essex) I have managed to delete cache & browsing history on both my I-pad & Windows 10 laptop & I am staying logged in - hurrah for Kibkom!!

Can't log into forum using iPad and safari but fine on laptop and chrome. Have now downloaded app to iPad and that works fine. Very strange!

I keep being logged out on an Android tablet. How do I clear what I need to on there? Also on my laptop, Windows 10, I can only stay on the website for around 3-4 minutes before I get messages asking to allow access to something or other else and whether I say yes or no to this I get a "do you want to repair ....." which I cancel and the Kibkom page shuts down! Any advice as to what to do?

The problem is resolved for me when using website,but NOT when using APP.

I could log in via web link but not the app.

In case some members may have missed it, for those using the app, try clearing your cache, delete the Kibkom app and then re-install the app. Log in with username and password. This is what worked for me.

Hmmm I use the Android app and it works fine, no logon issues. Maybe its time to move this whole forum to Facebook. Its much easier to use and is got modern interface.

Heaven forbid!

Personally, being somewhat computer literate, I wouldn't touch FB with the proverbial ten foot barge pole.

There are people out there who don't use FB or Twitter or the hundred and one other (anti-)social media applications, believe it or not.

Just an update to my earlier post I have no problem logon using the kibkom app on my android tablet. Seems an issue on Windows with the Browser - Chrome. Im using Firefox and it seems to work. Might be an idea to move this forum to Facebook to avoid problems?

Another forum which I used to read and post on moved to facebook - it was a popular, busy, informative and very helpful forum. After just a few months, the facebook site had little but a few "selfies" and similar pictures and comments uploaded by and relating to the minority who had favoured the move.... The majority (including myself) moved to another similar forum.
IMO, "social media" such as Facebook and Twitter are suitable for their purpose, but totally unsuitable for forums - all are tools designed and made for a particular usage, and most tools if used for a different purpose do not work properly - if at all!

I was accessing the forum using IE and Chrome and had the same problems ie kept returning to the log in page. I have since reinstalled Firefox and have had no further problems staying logged in and viewing posts etc. (fingers crossed).

I am using Multimax. I have used both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have removed cache history.

I have successfully "logged in" and accessed both "The Forum" and "Sales".

When I try to access "Items Wanted" I am required to "Login" again and again and again..

This happens on both browsers.

"Logging in" after clearing the cache and ticking the "Keep me logged in " box is ineffective.

I used Firefox this morning to access the site. I logged in and was able to access "The Forum" and "Sales". I could not access "Items Wanted; I was required to login again. I attempted to post a reply and had to login again At the top of the Firefox page is a pop up which stated that Firefox was preventing re-direction to another page. I clicked "Allow" and was re-directed to the login page again and again and again.

I then though to use Internet Explorer as my browser.

I went straight to the "Post a reply" page that I could not reach on Firefox ............ and I was already logged in!!!!!!!!!!!

I do hope that this will help someone to resolve the problem. I cannot understand it at all.

It took me three goes to log in just now. Don't want to have to keep changing to another browser as suggested. Hopefully problem will be solved soon.

Same problem here using Firefox on Win 7, cleared all history and cookies, close & then restart browser, sign on to Kibkom.

It seems to be fine until I click on an attachment, and then either...

1) the attachment doesn't load, I'm logged out, and have to log back in again, or...

2) the attachment loads, but when I go back to the page that I was on, I have to log back in again.

I tried 4 times to post an item earlier & kept getting logged out but tried your tip clicking box on the right & hey presto it worked, I'm with multimax, cheers Sonar

Eventually managed to log in and its allowing me to post I think!!

Update 13th June 2017

Soner is aware of the issues around logging in and also posting on the forum.

The programmer is still working on the problem which is taking time to resolve. Hopefully this should be done in the next few days, but as it's I.T. this is not certain!

So please bear with the forum whilst the experts continue to investigate the issue.

Could be a number of things that is causing this problem but we can't seem to find the root. One suggestion that PoshinDevon mentioned was that if you have the KibApp, then delete the app and reinstall it.

if you are still having problems, then go to Google Search and type in "what is my IP" then email it over to me on [email protected]

Programmer is still working on a fix.
