Hans Doleman

I heard last night that Hans Doleman (Dutch crusader) had died, does anyone else do the walks he used to do?

I don't believe so, but it's a pity. Hans was a fountain of knowledge and gave lectures as well as his guided tours. He was also a cartographer (map-maker), we still use one of his NC maps.

Jacob,I thınk about a year ago he returned to Netherlands,and passed away peacefully.I mıss hıs wıt and dry sense of humour.We had a few years organısıng Chess and Backgammon clubs..RIP Hans

Hans had an ascerbc wit and did not suffer fools at all never mind gladly! Having said that he was a lovely person who would help anyone and he will be missed for a long time.

Rest in Peace Hans.
