Can anybody fix a Phillips Iron?

It is actually brand new from UK and did not work at all when I plugged it into the wall! I have read the manual as well as changed the fuse. But still no luck!! It has an automatic switch off safety mechanism - which I thought was a very good idea at the time. Perhaps this is the problem? But there does not seem to be a reset button anywhere!

Any help or suggestions most welcome

I don't know where you keep your fuses, but if it was just knocking about in a drawer, as some people have them, it would be as well to test it in another appliance...

Also, test the wall socket by trying something else in it - if you haven't already done so!

If that doesn't help, then the engineers at Acdınç (opposite end of the block to Stroll Inn, next to Funky Divas haırdressers) are very good...

Thanks Keithcaley. Will try a few more fuses. Yes already tried the socket. Then will go to Adinc!

Hi LizA,

For future reference, did you try Acdınç? - and if you did so, could they fix it?

Just so that I know who to recommend!

Thanks, Keith.
