Re: Can't get Film on free TV now
There does seem to be something going on. Some testing I have done.
Using my main machine - win10 - with all latest windows updates and using chrome or IE or edge browsers, I am seeing similar symptoms to you. Plays for a bit then stream seems to die.
Using a laptop that is win 7 , not up to date with latest windows updates using chrome - plays fine.
------
I suspect that this is a issue with a windows update that came out around march 16 KB4013429 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -kb4013429
"Known issues in this update
Windows DVD Player (and 3rd party apps that use Microsoft MPEG-2 libraries) crashes when run.
Workaround
This issue is currently being addressed and a fix will be provided when ready."
-------
Something else you can try if you are using win 10 is to download and install the win 10 filmon app from the MS app store here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p ... zdncrdd0nj
Using the app, rather than a web browser on my main win 10 machine does seem to work for me.
