Forget KODI just type ( https://gostream.site/ ) or ( https://putlockertv.ac/category/movies ) into your browser ie using Firefox or Safari or whatever browser you use, and just save them into your favorites, those sites have the latest movies from the theaters, ie ( Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star Is Born, The Equalizer 2 ) all the latest movies, and the movie starts instantly, another good site for movies is Stremio, and another is Popcorn-time I think it's version 3.1 for popcorn-time. I still use KODI now and again but it's the crap you have to go through just to get the movie to play, with gostream 1 click and the movie starts right away.

Interesting post, thought I would check out the links and the apps suggested.

https://gostream.site/, can get movies but not TV shows it seems. I tried with Bohenian Rhapsody and the movie is buffering unacceptably for me this evening. I didn't test if improved viewing by being patient and allow to load first.

https://putlockertv.ac/category/ can search movies and TV shows. I found recent episodes of series but not the full catalogue of series for say, Grey's Anatomy, or Suits. Neither test offered series 1, episode 1. I searched for the series Tin Star without luck. Would prefer not to have the sex related ads displaying.

https://www.stremio.com/ requires app download, duly done. Searched for various, many came back "No streams available" or where there were streams these all listed as pay to view. No thanks!

https://getpopcorntime.is/ requires app download, duly done. Searched successfully for TV series' Tin Star and Game of Thrones. Can view episodes from series 1 onwards. Some buffering issues but may be improved viewing if patient and allow to load first. There is an annoying attempt to sell their VPN but you can skip past the VPN promo screens.

A couple of resources I have found useful...

Leonflix app https://leonflix.net/ for TV shows and for movies. It's free and pretty good. Not yet available for Android though. One does have to re-scrape for sources from time to time and there are occasions where no sources found, generally more successful than otherwise so I stick with this app, and Kodi.

I was using http://imtv.cc for a couple of years when out of the blue a notification popped up saying my subscription had expired, offering me 15, 30, 60 + days subscriptions through "donations". I declined. I have just tested and I can access free taster episodes of series but they are still after my money. When it was free to use I found this to be very good for TV shows and for movies. If you create an account you too may be lucky and get a couple of years free subscription like I had. I tried creating a new account but I think they had me by the IP or MAC address.

Thanks for the other sites a1sysman as I said I am on NBN at 52mbps so I have no trouble with buffering, everything works just great, I have been using KODI for such a long time and I admit it was the greatest thing I ever came across, but not now, I just get fed up with the time it takes to get a provider and then the source ie ( openload, Vidtodo, streamango, Vidzi, I could go on, I just like one click and the movie starts, But again I still use KODI if I can't find what I am looking for in the other sites. I will try Leonflix and see how that works,

But Stremeo works great but like KODI you have to download the addons, I have a youtube video on how to get the best results and you do not have to pay for anything all movies and TV shows are free,
