Fairly new restaurant, and well worth a visit. Lovely food, some different choices for a change, and good service. Lovely venue overall.

Main road towards Girne, just after Golden Lady on your right, next left turn after Turvetuloa turn. It is on right not far down there. Food is fairly cosmopolitan, with obvious usual Cypriot dishes but a very good selection and the puds are loverly! Nice Cappaccino too.

This restaurant is actually called Baselic

I was a tad confused also, I thought it was called Basillic… or something like that, and has a Russian themed menu... very nice anyway, now we know which one we are talking about..... lol

Yes Basilic, a Russian restaurant. I had a lovely chicken caesar salad and homemade lemonade recently. Very good VFM and you get a complementary bread selection with olives and oil and balsamic before your meal. Coffee was good too.

Warning!

If you decide to try the 'Black Burger', make sure that you wear the plastic gloves (supplied) on as otherwise, the black dye will stain your hands! - And be careful not to drop bits onto your clothes as well!

Food was good, service was attentive and friendly.

Worth a visit.
