Can anyone help, advise , recommend what works best in North Cyprus.
Our requirements are mainly tv ( Netflix, bbc, itv, kodi ) via fire stick and general web searches.
We have used one or two vpns in the past, but they eventually became victims of geoblocking.

Understand the very basics of pros and cons between them, just looking to see what the majority are using and are happy with.

Since it was recommended on here I have been using Streamvia DNS and it works faultlessly. If you search the forum for it you will find lots of info.

I'm using https://www.smartdnsproxy.com with no problems and support is good too. You can get a 14 day trial. The most popular ones seem to be that and Streamvia

I see that Stream via and smartdnaproxy have set up procedures via router or device.
I need access on multiple devices, is the router set up best for that ?
Is the router set up an easy task ?
Do I need my service provider to set up the router ( they set up from onset ) or is it something I can do ?

Is all the above do-able with a fire stick ?

The easiest way with streamvia is to use their 'smartstream' service. This will allow access to specific pre designated sites (bbc,itv, c4 etc etc) on any number of devices from a single specified internet connection. This will work with firestick for the specified sites (bbc etc etc). Setup requires assigning your account to your internet connection (most easily done via a web browser) and then manually setting DNS addresses on each device you want to use. They have very good set up guides for any number of devices including firestick and have very good support in my experience.

I would advise against configuring VPN on you router for a number of reasons.
