After a slow start the booking seemed to work OK until the pay screen when the price went from 189 TL to 189 $...................

So lost any confidence in the site now, think I will stick with someone I know who I pay for when they arrive and NOT in advance.

All the transfer prices on our website are in Turkish Lira. Probably you tried to pay it with a Dollar currency credit card but still its not normal to see the same amount. At the final payment page you should see the price around 40 Dollars if you enter Dollar currency credit card.
Please see documents attached.
Even if there is any error occures on our system (not happened yet) you can make sure that you will get a full refund.

It occurred to me that it might be an issue with Google Chrome browser - I've seen it do the same thing on KKTCARABAM.COM - suddenly switch the TL to a £ or $ symbol - most disconcerting!

Keith I think you may be right......... I do use chrome but.... I have no way of knowing what amount will actually be taken hence my post.

Notwithstanding the TL versus dollar etc, can you let me know your up to date charges from both airports to Alsancak in high season i.e. July and August, possibly the red eye flights.

Surely the current prices for Ercan and Larnaca are the ones already posted in the original/first post or am I missing something?

Well nothing changes does it. We left Cyprus 4 years ago but when we were there everyone bitched anyone trying to earn a few quid. Rather than slag the fella off why not ring him, point out his error and simply pay in lira on the day. Simples ! Trying to make any sort of living out there is near impossible with everything stacked against you so respect to anyone who is trying. If you get a good reliable service then let everyone know then just perhaps, he might make a living.

Does the website not appear in your Browser at all when you click on the link, or is there some functional aspect of it that doesn't work?

Our cars are fully insured but unfortunately we don't let our cars to pass the border.

About insurance in South side: According to law and insurance policy You have to pay for insurance while passing the border even if its your own car and has full insurance in North side.

Using cyprusbooking for the first time in August for both transfer from Larnaca and car rental so hopefully I can come back on here after and recommend to other potential customers.

We may want to visit Troodos and friends in the south so is there an easy way to drive the car to a crossing, park for several hours and rent a car in the south for a day?

I’ve used cyprus Booking.com for a few transfers now and they have been spot on each time. Reliable and great value for money.

I have also booked a car hire with them for 13 days at a cost of 650TL. Unbelievable value. Almost worth not buying a car!

Have only just, after all this time, picked this thread up. Am wondering why it's on PETS. (have just realised it isn't actually on pets properly but if I click on Best Transfers, sometimes PETS comes up and sometimes it doesn't. Obviously a temporary blip. No probs.!!

Sophie, the thread is a global, so it is in every category. If you click on it it Pets section then it will show in Pets category, if you click on it in Bars section, then it will be shown in Bars category. Nothing wrong with the forum. Hope this explains.

Have used this company on a couple of occasions and will continue to do so in the future. Had a glitch with the payment page,but called into the office and everything was sorted for me. The price comes up in dollars but dont worry you are only charged in lira. There are many a company on this island that could learn a few things from a customer service point of view. Durdu the office manager speaks good english and bends over backwards if you have any problems. Highly recommended.

CyprusBooking.com - Thank you for your response. I was always led to believe that it was not possible for a taxi to take more than 7 passengers to the South and it is good to know that you have mini-buses that will take more than 10 passengers to Larnaca.

It is true that max of 7 seater vehicle can pass the border if it is registered in North Cyprus. But this is not same for the south side. They can pass the border with any vehicle any time.. We have partners there and we use their busses to provide services for our costumers.

I used this company 3 times in September and am thrilled to have found such a reliable and friendly transfer company. I met 3 different drivers and it was never going to be easy finding my house but they all arrived in good time to cater for that. The prices are extremely competitive making it cheaper and easier than having a rental car for the first and last day.
I had a little user trouble on the website but an email and call later everything was sorted, booked and confirmed. Simple.
I can absolutely recommend them and can‘t see myself driving to or from the airport for a long time to come. I‘ll be relaxing in the back with a cold drink enjoying the passing scenery!!
