Do TEB bank charge intrest on withdrawal of sterling, also where is the nearest branch to Esentepe.

No idea of charges. However, a TEB search of branches revealed the nearest to Esentepe is in Girne at:
Bedrettin Demirel Caddesi No:12/12b

If you Google Map this it will show you where the Branch is.

there is a branch by the state hospital in Girne and no charges for sterling withdrawal

The TEB branch is just past the Hirondelle roundabout when coming from Esenteppe. That's the roundabout where you turn left to go to Lefkosa. The one by the hospital is a Garantee bank. There is a TEB cash machine by Lemar in Karakum.

There is no charge for withdrawing sterling from the ATM.

There is a TEB ATM outside Karakum Lemar. And no charge.
