The kind man in Girne Wednesday market(first one opposite the cafe by police station entrance) got me a big bag of perlite.Virtually the same thing,And using succesfully in my potting up......those who ask what it is...if you buy some pot plants it is the white granules you may see in the compost....You mix about 1/3 perlite to 2/3 compost.....it retains the moisture so much better,and helps with root formation... .....İ can spare a bucketful anyone want.İ am by Bektaş in Lapta
